  • Is my donation tax deductible?

    Yes, donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

  • Can I change the terms of my monthly donation?

    Of course! Just email us at candofamily@canteen.org.au or call our friendly Supporter Care Team on 1800 639 614 to adjust the terms of your donation.

  • Will I get a receipt?

    Yes, at the end of the financial year in July, we will send out a tax-receipt with the consolidated gifts of our regular givers.

  • Can I donate to a specific program?

    Here at Canteen, we make sure that funds are allocated to where the need is greatest. This allows us to effectively reach out to every corner of Australia and make sure that every young person has access to our free counselling, peer support and resources when cancer comes crashing into their lives.

  • Can I set up a recurring donation?

    Absolutely. When making a donation, you have the option to make it a one-time contribution or set up a recurring monthly donation. Regular monthly donations are the best way to help us ensure no young Australian has to face cancer alone as it provides a predictable and stable income stream, allowing us to effectively plan ahead.
